Did you know that “decal” is short for decalcomania? The technique was invented by Simon François Ravenet, an engraver from France who later moved to England and perfected the process he called “decalquer” (which means to copy by tracing); it became widespread during the decal craze of the late 19th century.
Here at TNJ we are still crazy about the effectiveness of decals and the many uses they offer. Decals can be used for anything from:
- Bumper Stickers
- Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN’s)
- Small Business Advertisements
- And even guitar cases
Let your imagination run wild and give us a shout to let us know how you are thinking about using decals. Chances are we can be of service and then some. Contact us today!
